The ideal candidate will have to strategically plan, direct, and control the financial and administrative functions of the business, with the focus on creating a financial sustainable business environment.

This position will report directly to the company CEO and indirectly to the group CFO.*Responsibilities : *Financial Reporting :

  • Prepares and presents management accounts.* Prepares and presents financial reports to assist in decision making & planning.
  • Ensure all reporting deadlines are met.* Ensures accuracy of the Daily Sales Report & other management reports.* Cash Flow management.
  • Plans, maintains, and utilises the cash resources to meet obligations and business objectives.Budget preparations :
  • Manages the budget process and compilation of a feasible, accurate annual budget.* Financial Planning & Forecasting.* Prepares and presents cash flow forecasts.
  • Provide insight and analysis regarding risk, financial and operational implications to enrich decision making.* Participates in the provision of strategic financial information.
  • Financial Control & Compliance.* Establishes and maintains financial control functions to ensure conformance to legislation, policies and procedures and accounting principles.Payroll :
  • Manages and coordinates the monthly payroll.Audit :
  • Oversees the annual financial and BEE audit.* Ensures all audit requirements are met.* Ensures financial information and the team is prepared and audit ready.
  • Insurance : * Responsible for preparing annual insurance renewal information.* Liaise with insurance brokers when dealing with claims.IT & Information systems :

  • Oversee compliance and operational integrity of information systems.* Safeguard financial and other key information.* Ensure business is compliant with POPI requirements.Business Management :
  • Translation of business goals into measurable objectives.* Ensure the financial department supports operational teams to enable them to meet strategic objectives.General :
  • Guide, mentor and upskill the finance team and other stakeholders.* Oversee and assist with daily accounting and reconciling of control accounts.
  • Monthly VAT calculations and submission.*
  • Requirements :

    Minimum Education : B.Compt Hons Degree.* Advantageous Qualifications : CA, CIMA, Articles.* Minimum Work Experience : At least 3-4 years experience in a similar role.
