Customer Sales Solutions Clerk (Multimodal) - Freight Forwarding - Liverpool - Up to 32,About the CompanyI'm working with a large freight forwarder based in central Liverpool who are looking to recruit a Customer Sales Solutions Clerk.

The key objective of the CSS Desk is to ensure that all rate enquiries generated from the Company commercial team and the Company Logistics Network are responded to within the deadline and that all requests are recorded and monitored so that the best pricing levels are provided to our customers and the network at all times.

To make every client feel that they are the Company's only client through exceptional service Add value to our services and provide the teams with the skills and knowledge to serve Company clients Be Fully Multimodal - Ocean Imports, Ocean Exports, LCL, FCL, Rail Imports & Rail Cross Trade Customer Sales Solutions Clerk (Multimodal) - The Rewards Salary up to 32, Flexible working Training and career development Life assurance 3x salary Customer Sales Solutions Clerk (Multimodal) - Requirements Knowledge and understanding of Air freight / Sea freight / Road freight- inbound, outbound and cross trade Knowledge of Airfreight, ocean, road and rail pricing (import, export and cross trade) Knowledge of and understanding of our Aerospace vertical Good ICT skills Confident presentation and ability to be client facing Good communication skills, booth verbal & written Friendly, calm and professional manner Accustomed to working to fixed deadlines and under pressure Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated Well organized with the ability to work closely with internal departments Flexible working hours may be required during busy periods Customer Sales Solutions Clerk (Multimodal) - Responsibilities Provide initial point of contact for the Company Logistics network for the receipt of quotations, ensuring that all requests are responded to within 4hrs Liaison with Shipping lines, NVOCCs and Consolidators to provide choices / services To manage and control, follow up, measure and analyse success of all quote requests Assist product managers with spot pricing for sales team Take financial responsibility for both costs and revenue Demonstrate flexibility and team skills within the department to ensure consistent and uninterrupted service to the client and their customers Customer contact is paramount and relationship building is essential from day one, this to be made through phone and e-mail communications Ensure all enquiries or other communications are actioned promptly and efficiently Demonstrate flexibility and team skills within the site department to ensure consistent and uninterrupted service to the client and their customers Maintain mailboxes under your control To operate within a multifunctional team and to compliment the offering of client solutions Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior
