To complement our growth plans, Service Sales Development is considered to be a strategic priority for KONE South Africa.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Operations & Sales Manager South Africa, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Manager - Service Equipment Business to be based in South Africa.

In this role, you will lead and develop programs to ensure the progress and speed of Service Sales Contracts development throughout South Africa.

You will proactively develop and implement a service offering strategy to ensure competitiveness in the market with a thorough understanding of the service concept.

We are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and understands how to partner and collaborate with the business.

We need someone who has the ability to influence, with an analytical mindset, result driven and a strong commercial acumen skills.

Are you the one?

  • University degree or higher and Management Development Program will be advantageous;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in one of the following : Sales Service Contract Management / Sales Forecasting / Sales Budgeting;
  • Technical background in the construction and building material with experience in the elevator / escalator industry preferred;
  • Experience on CRM tools and MS Office is a must;
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service;
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data to draw conclusions and identify patterns;
  • Ability to bring people together and to be able to lead by example;
  • Passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus;
  • Excellent English communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Knowledge of other African languages will be advantageous;
  • Due to strict visa regulations only applications from South African Nationals will be accepted.
