Technical Account Manager Cisco IoT for South Africa
Cisco IoT is looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to join the Cisco IoT BU with a drive for customer excellence, the energy of a true hunter for Sales and Technical consulting on Cisco IoT connectivity platform.
Location in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Reporting to our Regional Sales Manager for SE MEA, you will be responsible for driving sales of the Cisco IoT platforms and products to a set of named, Fortune 200, Multi-
National Accounts, with focus on South African market. You will also drive all Technical account management activities on daily basis with end customers.
We are looking for a unique individual who has a proven track record of selling complex SaaS solutions and / or Connectivity, M2M, IoT related solutions.
Candidates for this position will have a strong technical solution sales background, experience working with Tier 1 Operators, the ability to map large accounts, and take a consultative approach to drive global adoption of the Cisco IoT platforms, solutions and products.
To be considered, you must have enterprise Technical and sales experience selling to the largest global accounts in the region and to the largest Mobile Operators of SA.
Background selling SaaS solutions, M2M, and / or Internet of Things (IoT) solutions is required.
In this job you will,
Drive sales of the Cisco IoT SaaS platform to global accounts through our operator channel partners in South Africa
Own and drive target revenue number Must be a hunter, closer and a challenger!
Increase client base through individual prospecting and lead generation.
Understand, adapt, communicate and educate the business value and ROI of our products and solutions to customers.
Meticulous sales pipeline management with CRM.
Consistently achieve individual monthly sales quotas including required sales activity metrics.
Proactively work to expand customer base, increase market share and over-achieve enterprise sales goals.
Train sales representatives on the technical value of the Cisco IoT SaaS platform, to deliver best-in-class presentations and demos.
Drive your operator sales teams to be trained and certified to demo the platform and manage on going training and re-certification
Support the on boarding of new enterprises onto your operator, ensure appropriate technical alignment with Cisco Jasper Sales Engineering and Network Engineering where required
Coordinate with Cisco Jasper Product, Software Development and Network Engineering to define and prioritize new features and capabilities
Orchestrate large projects with Cisco Jasper Delivery and your operators’ product delivery team.
Partner with Cisco Jasper Support and Professional Services to insure project expectations are agreed, met and continues aligned with the stakeholders in your operator.

Who You Are
Skills & Experience :
5+ years of experience in SaaS and IoT
Must have experience selling into and navigating LARGE global accounts
Must have solid and proven experience managing and selling to Tier 1 Mobile Operators
Strong knowledge of strategic sales process
Sales and / or sales partnership experience in the M2M, Internet of Things (IoT) market space
Core skills relating to CRM, BSS / OSS and Service Delivery Platform software applications a plus
Skills in creating financial business cases ROI / TCO Metrics
Extensive experience in mapping enterprise org charts and influence maps
Extraordinary communicator, with a strong visual aesthetic and a great story-teller
Exceptional skills in presentation and slide ware design
Strong ability to understand enterprise and mobile operator business needs and customized stories
Extensive experience presenting at the C- level to customers and prospects
Fast executor. Self-starter and team player.
Fluent in English and preference in Spanish as second language.
Travel over 25% of the time
