The Position : * We are looking to recruit a Campus General Manager at each of our Cape Town Tyger Valley campus to ensure the effective academic delivery and overall operations management of a campus in order to provide outstanding service delivery and academic leadership as key Eduvos differentiators.
The role will report to Head of Customer Experience and Campus Operations. The academic, academic administration and student affairs roles report into this role, either with a direct or matrix reporting line.
Functional and technical competencies : *
Good understanding of academic processes and regulatory frameworks, as well as academic products and product development processes.
Commercial knowledge and skills understand profit and loss statements and the key drivers of income and expenses.
Matrix management know-how.
Good understanding regarding the development and maintenance of a high-performance culture. Good understanding of customer experience principles and its impact on student success and student experience.
Accountabilities. As Campus General Manager, you will be accountable for overall campus performance. Key performance indicators include measures such as : *
Community engagement & brand representation (visibility, identifying key stakeholders and initiating and maintaining relationships).
Financial (Profit and loss, expense target (salaries and facility costs), returning business targets, cost of academic / service delivery (campus utilisation; student / lecturer ratio).
Academics delivery (pass and throughput rate, academic integrity and quality assurance, compliance)
Product offering (product mix aligned to market, product profitability ratio, product pipeline)
Customer satisfaction rates / net promoter score
Quality of facilities (presentable campus) *Management*
Campus budget management.
Campus operational planning - targets, objectives, priorities, schedules, projects.
Operational implementation and execution monitoring - control, corrective action.
Problem solving and decision quality, including escalations, queries and complaints.
Campus resource and capacity management (people, equipment, systems, allocation of resources / workload and workflow monitoring presentable campus.
