To produce a carefully conceived, high quality compliant bid that is professional in its presentation and delivered on time by means of detail planning, leading, organising, negotiating and directing people and activities throughout the bid lifecycle.
To, in collaboration with relevant Engagement and Solution Architecture structures, be responsible for absorbing, maintaining focus and executing a bid strategy to produce a winning and commercially viable bid response.
To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the bid process for complex bids, with an estimated bid value exceeding R100m, to ensure bid budgets, schedules, governance and performance requirements are met.
To compile an action plan to deliver all items required to successfully complete the bid, including detailed bid response outlines and assigning key bid team members.
To ensure that all identified bid risks are documented, communicated and mitigated. To plan and conduct progress reviews and to prepare status reports and briefings for senior management.
To plan and conduct the final bid response review and to obtain commercial and solution sign-off. To control and supervise all aspects of the bid consolidation and production efforts.
