Internal Sales

Location : Johannesburg South

Salary : R13 000 R15 000CTC No benefits

Term to Perm Appointment

Minimum requirements :

  • Pastel Proficient (or similar)
  • 3-5 years internal sales experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Resides in or closer to Johannesburg South
  • Packaging industry experience is advantageous
  • Primary duties

  • Customer Service
  • To facilitate and support the sales effort by maintaining a high level of regular contact with customers via telephone and email.
  • Computer Processing
  • Pricing and quotations
  • Marketing administration
  • Branch Activities
  • Filing
  • Clerical work
  • Overseeing all activities that relate to the servicing of customers
  • Rating customer satisfaction
  • Generating required monthly sales analysis reports i.e. sales by product & customer
  • Fulfilling marketing quality objectives
  • Co-ordinating the activities of the branch in terms of purchasing, sales, deliveries, reporting, collections and all reasonable functions as delegated to you by your superiors etc.
  • Carrying out all clerical work and administration required by the branch
  • Filing and storage of all material related to your specific job function
  • Assuming certain functions as delegated to you when another member of management is on leave
  • Data capturing
  • Any other reasonable instructions relating to work
  • Assisting in co-ordinating and managing all marketing activities such as advertising, promotions, product launches etc.
  • Participating in quality group activities
  • Assisting in company training and induction programmes
  • Providing a friendly & readily available first point of contact for Internal & External customers
  • Providing timely, responsive assistance to our Agencys network of clients.
  • Ensuring that leads (and required info) are passed to External Sales where appropriate
  • Entering potential new customers as the enquiry occurs
  • To pro-actively seek new business in the specified product range, by targeting a combination of existing customers and prospective customers
  • Ensure all orders received are recorded accordingly
  • Carrying out invoicing, clerical work and administration related to branch management
  • Ordering and maintaining required stock levels
  • Expediting orders efficiently
  • Communicating orders to head office timeously
