My client is looking for an energetic, vivacious and committed Robot Spray Technician for the factory based in Krugersdorp.

TASKS : - Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics.

  • Disassemble and reassemble robots or peripheral equipment to make repairs such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, and servomotors -
  • Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components. - Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems.

  • Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, end-of-arm tools, or conveyors. - Document robotics test procedures and results.
  • Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates - Train robots, using artificial intelligence software or interactive training techniques, to perform simple or complex tasks, such as designing and carrying out a series of iterative tests of chemical samples.
  • Maintain inventories of production supplies such as sensors and cables - Perform quality assurance with team making sure quality of glaze spray on sanitaryware pieces meets the required standard.
  • Ensure production targets are achieved. - Work standby and weekends. - Be willing to work long hours. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA) Functional Skills / Technical Skills : -

    Siemens S7 PLC fault finding and programming - VSD Drive fault finding and programming Behavioural Skills / Leadership Behaviours : -

    Drive for results QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE : Special Knowledge / Skills Required : - Excellent computer literacy. -

    Preferred - 5 to 10 years' experience of robotic paint application equipment. - Minimum N4 Trade in Millwright / Electrical / Mechatronics.

  • National Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics - Proficient in robot programming and fault finding. - Excellent understanding of robot programming and process outcome correlation Hours of work : Monday -
  • Thursday 08 : 00 - 17 : 00 Friday : 08 : 00 - 16 : 00 Every alternative Saturday : 08 : 00 - 14 : 00 Salary : - Negotiable depending on knowledge, skill set, expertise and experience.
