A vacancy exists for a client based in Rivonia. They are a global software organization, and they are currently recruiting a Head Technical Engineer to head up their Support Desk function in the business.
The role will involve extensive application problem solving while assisting clients with their system queries. The software solution systems are SQL based, thus the role includes extensive SQL tuning and troubleshooting and understanding of overall IT Infrastructure Architecture.
The successful candidate would be required to be a true problem solver they need to be able to use their own skills, expertise and initiative to figure out where to start solving a clients’ system query.
The position requires someone who can thrive under pressure, an exceptional sense of urgency is required as clients would want any queries resolved as soon as possible.
Note : almost all resolutions and support will be done remotely. The purpose is to find the best and fastest possible solution to a problem in order, by applying your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities, while maintaining and strengthening successful customer relationships.
