Position Summary :
We're hiring a Recruiter to join our EMEA HR team! This role will be critical in the delivery of end-to-end recruitment, strengthening the overall talent pipeline of best-in-class, exciting and diverse talent at the NBA.
The Recruiter will report to the Head of HR - International and contribute to the building and execution of the recruiting strategy, while also work on recruiting-related projects.
The successful candidate will focus in the areas of candidate talent sourcing and engagement. You will play a meaningful role in providing full resourcing services, leading and driving talent resourcing initiatives and position the Company Employer Brand.
Collaborate with respective business stakeholders to understand their talent needs and align resourcing strategies to meet recruitment plans.
Adopt the best recruitment approaches to drive a seamless candidate experience. ensuring that we meet the needs of a rapidly scaling business in NBA Africa and the Basketball Africa League.
Responsibilities include building talent attraction strategies, defining interview processes and handling offer negotiations.
You must be able to successfully lead talent searches and have experience setting benchmarks and metrics and understanding how to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines.
The successful individual thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment, and can successfully communicate with internal and external partners.
You will draw on extensive knowledge of recruiting and forge dynamic relationships with hiring managers and the broader HR team.
It would help if you had strong skills and technique on candidate generation, negotiation, organization, creative sourcing, verbal, and written communication skills.
The successful candidate will also have an ability to prioritize their time, navigate competing priorities and operate with a sense of urgency.

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team member Results-oriented, dedicated and driven to achieve results Business level verbal and written proficiency in English required, French a plus Solid knowledge of HR systems and applicant tracking systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse, Peoplefluent, ICIMS, etc.
Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision Strong business curiosity High level of proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Basketball or sports knowledge, a plus but not required Ability to travel to other NBA offices (Dakar, London, NYC), as neededExperience Needed A minimum of 10 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience and a track record of hiring extraordinarily talented people Minimum 5 years In-house / corporate recruitment experience a must Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done in tandem with participating in deeply complex strategy discussions Demonstrated success implementing innovative ways to attract and retain candidates Experiencing leading and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships Expertise in building and executing a recruiting strategy, including candidate, diversity sourcing, and interview processes Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and, including applicant-tracking resume databases, internet sourcing tools and CRM candidate management tools Comfortable on writing documents and utilizing and interpreting data Education : Educational Background Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field
