DescriptionMinimum requirements for the role : sales experience having sold industrial products or lubricants or related into the engineering or mining or industrial sectors is essential.
Tertiary qualification in either Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree or diploma or related would be preferred.
experience having worked for a company within the mechanical or engineering or related industries is essentialThe successful candidate must be able to relate to the sales or service and application fields and must be able to do technical solution selling.
The successful candidate will be responsible for : Building strong relationships with the customers.Working with Technicians and the Plant Engineer on manufacturing machines.
Coordinating meetings with senior management regarding products and service offerings.Negotiating annual prices with the customers as well as management.
Assisting and offering technical advice as well as troubleshooting to customers.Driving marketing strategies within the industries.
Compiling reports as required by senior management.Liaising directly with suppliers and assisting customers with timely product deliveries.
Preparing quotations and processing orders.Attending tender meetings as well as compiling tender documents.Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
