Overview
We are currently recruiting proactive, organised claims consultants to join our Insurance Claims team. Successful candidates will assume responsibility for :
Engaging with claimants and / or service providers to request claims information to process claims - including via written correspondence and phone calls.
Evaluating claims based on documentation received including responses from claimants and providers.
Minimum requirements
The minimum requirements for the role are :
A Matric Certificate or Equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
RE 5
FAIS min 60 credits with a requirement to obtain full FAIS within 2 years of DOFA
A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a claim's environment
A minimum of 6 months short term insurance claims experience and / or a minimum of 1-year Call Centre experience
Responsibilities
Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Authorise claims in accordance with policy parameters.
Prepare insurance claim forms or related documents and review them for completeness.
Calculate claims amounts
Finalize and close off claims when all information is available.
Ensure that all quotes and Assessment reports are validated prior to deciding on the claim.
Validate and confirm cover immediately after registering of the claim.
Appoint assessor / SP for inspection within 24 hours
