KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Modelling and analysis of the businessperformance, as well as reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Collection of data and, more importantly, financial supportthrough the interpretation and analysis of the trends and interrelationshipsthat allow informed business decisions to be made.
  • Prepare monthly scorecard, including actuals review and rolling forecast.
  • Liaise with regional controllers to ensure actuals accuracy and rolling forecast.
  • Prepare analysis on project profitability and capacity planning to enable decision-making or help understand business drivers.
  • Assist the financial controller in the cash collection process, ensuring cash collection is maximized and risk minimized.
  • Support regional controllers on project accounting, forecasting, and preparation of project control pack.
  • Support financial controller on Internal Project Reviews to ensure relevant financial / business issues are actioned.
  • Assist the delivery controller in maintaining a process for reviewing Time and materials projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Maintain Hyperion Database.
  • Upload forecast in Oracle, or ensure journal entries are done on time.
  • Consolidate and provide analysis on the balance sheet for AFA.
  • Prepare BV sheets for license and services.
  • Review net working capital by customer.
  • Improve processes and financial modeling.
  • Assist Delivery Controller MEA in ad-hoc analysis.
  • Support Middle East & Africa Statutory controller on Africa Statutory and Tax submissions for Africa legal entities.
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Five+ years of experience in a progressive finance or accounting role.
  • Part or full qualified accountant (ACCA / ACMA).
  • Experience in complex multi-national environments.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting.
  • Good working knowledge if IFRS standards and audit procedures.
  • Hands-on experience of working with MS Office, Oracle, and Hyperion.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to establish interest, trust, and credibility at all levels, including senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Able to see the big picture and stand back to bridge the strategic vision with the details of daily execution.
