R15 000 - R20 000 a month Assist in compliance and assessments to HSE requirements. Prepare and maintain relevant HSE management and performance reports.
Promote incident / accident prevention and investigate and report on occurrences thereof. Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training.
Maintain good relations with staff, suppliers, customers and regulatory authorities. Monitor and track the status of the HSE and take corrective actions as required.
Conduct HSE Meetings / Training and schedule as required. Maintain master documents for HSE management system. Keep abreast of HSE legislation, permits and updates and ensure compliance Track all occupational survey deviations and implement the relevant corrective actions.
Assist in emergency response and compiling of IOD reports. Oversee behaviour based / observation safety programs. Quarterly planned job observations.
Assist in administering and maintaining compliance programs. Report non-compliance with local HSE laws to relevant internal staff.
Assist in the development of HSE & actions plans to achieve objectives and targets. Conduct the necessary internal audits, inspections and checks to verify effectiveness.
Assist in the preparation and participate in third-party HSE audits. Prepare & provide input to HSE management reviews Requirements : Matric / Grade 12 (or equivalent) Certificates in HSE legislation ( SAMTRAC, ISO 45001, OHSAct, etc ) Excellent knowledge of HSE principles, OHSAct & HSE Management System.
Excellent computer literacy MS Excel / Word and Power point. At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
