A Business Hunters Permanent Positions is urgently available at one of our Clients, Perx Consulting (Pty) Ltd KZN, on their Telkom Contract.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON OUR CLIENT :

Our client is a leader in the telecoms industry with an extensive customer base. They are looking for a positive and career driven Business Hunter in KZN area to build a career within the company.

This is a roaming position. Succession planning is in place. Perx as a company believe in rewarding long term performance when the opportunity arises.

The company has over 20 million subscribers and this opportunity provides individuals ample opportunity to grow within a fast growing industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
  • Matric / GR 12
  • Matric / GR 12
  • New business development and cold calling experience a must
  • Experience in Sales in the Retail, Mobile and Cellular Industry will be an advantage

  • REMUNERATION :

    R10 - 15K p.m. Basic Including a car allowance of R4000-00 p.m. + Commission + Medical Aid Contribution, Funeral Cover and Uniforms.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish relationships with new customers focusing on SME's and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets as quantified by TDS Business
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales within the confines of a Telkom Store Product Offering
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings (must use Matrix customer base) & Google, and indirect methods such as networking
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
  • Consult with prospect about their unique business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.
  • Maintain a high level of relevant Telkom Direct Store product knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Be willing to partner with BCX Business Consultant counterparts in more complex deals
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
  • Draft and deliver proposals to potential clients
  • Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
  • REPORTING

  • Report on sales activity (include desired frequency daily is ideal for accuracy)
  • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions (include frequency daily is ideal for accuracy)
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
  • INTERNAL STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Work with delivery teams to proactively address problems
  • Cultivate strong relationships within Telkom to deliver timeously and offer end to end support for clients
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
  • Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
  • Be a positive representative of Telkom and its brand in the marketplace
