Duties (will include but not limited to) :
To manage the Mechanical Engineering Department by applying the principles of planning, organising, leading and controlling activities and people through the implementation of relevant best practices that are aimed at achieving the operation's mechanical engineering objectives.
Good communicator and inter-personal skills on all levels
Good ability to lead and mentor as well as build good relationships and develop employees
Candidate must display strategic insight, business acumen, conceptual thinking and customer centricity
Candidate must be assertive and approachable
Candidate must be able to manage risk, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and must have the drive for results as well as taking ownership of change management within the department
