Minimum requirements for the role :
A tertiary qualification or Coschem diploma or related qualification is preferred.
Previous Key Account and Product Management experience having supplied chemical raw materials into either the Personal Care or Home Care or Pharmaceutical or related manufacturing markets is preferred.
Must be able to work independently.
The successful candidate must be Excel proficient.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Manage Senior Key Accounts and Suppliers and product sourcing.
Oversee and develop new business.
Ensure that stock levels are enough for Customers orders and forecasts.
Manage and handle all Customer queries.
Ensure that monthly and quarterly budgets are met.
Prepare presentations on specific products and present them to Customer panels.
Ensure that orders are delivered according to requirements.
Assist Customers with new product development and technical support.
Report to Principal Suppliers regarding opportunities that have been identified.
Prepare forecasts, budgets and costings of products and product range.
Visit and attend trade shows and visit Principal Supplier for training and relationship development.
Discuss and negotiate prices on various products to Customers.
Assist with product trials when required to do so by Customers.
Compile and present monthly reports to Senior Management.
