Consider coming along for the rideyoull never be bored.BET is seeking a Talent Manager, to provide HR strategies and direction by partnering with the business to create a team orientated, high performance culture to meet its objectives.

Responsible for the management of the generalist HR functions to ensure a driven and engaged team.*Minimum

Requirements :

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma* Previous HR Management experience* Valid Drivers licence *Advantageous : Experience in Organisational Development* Previous experience in an IT / Technology environment*Responsibilities : Business Support Actively partner with the business to understand the HR value add to the business in order to identify HR solutions & initiatives in line with business objectives.
  • Ensure that strategic HR Plans and Projects are implemented accordingly and allocate HR resources to HR projects.* Monitor and evaluate service levels with various HR service providers.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the onboarding and induction process to optimize new starter experience. *Industrial Relations Management of employee relations with assistance from labour relations service provider.
  • Consult and advise on labour relations issues. Provide guidance and advice on good practice whilst understanding business requirements.

  • Support, develop and coach managers in relation to IR policies and procedures. Communicate all policies and legal updates to management.
  • Policies, Procedures and Processes Formalize HR policies and procedures for the business. Ensure the proper communication of policies to all team members.
  • Regular reviewing of HR policies and procedures to ensure that appropriate and relevant policies & procedures are in place for every stage in the employee life cycle.
  • Recruitment Management of the recruitment function for the business.* Ensure adherence to the recruitment processes from end to end.
  • Ensure the necessary risk assessments completed and approvals for exceptions obtained before appointments are made.* Ensure the timeous and proper appointments of critical positions.
  • Appointments are made within set turnaround times* All relevant sourcing methods utilized to prevent delays*Reporting Value add reports identifying trends and initiatives* Responsible for successful implementation and day to day management and maintenance of the HRIS to ensure accurate recording and reporting from the HRIS.
  • Adhoc reporting as required*Transformation and diversity Rollout of BEE transformation initiatives* Adherence to EE plans*People Management Manage the HR team and ensure that solid basic transactional HR functions are managed according to expected procedure and standards* Support, develop and coach the HR team, ensuring they are regularly upskilled and kept motivated.
  • Wellness Climate surveys to be conducted on the business as and when required* Wellness days to be organised* Career conversations to ensure retention and growth for team members within the business* Participate in designing, development and implementation of innovative workforce retention programmes* One on One with team members as and when required to ensure emotional wellness*Compliance Ensure legislative compliance and operations risk management related to HR functions* Policy guidance and compliance.
  • Performance and Productivity Ensure that the performance appraisal process is conducted timeously in line with business practices.
  • Partner with business to ensure performance improvement plans are implemented and followed through.* Identify talent management initiatives and succession planning.

    Facilitate Individual Development Plans at appropriate levels and align these to both the individual and the business objectives.

  • Exits Manage the off-boarding and handover process*Skills and competencies : Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)* Strong levels of adaptability and decision-making capabilities.
  • Capability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced growing environment.* Resilience and forward-thinking mindset (ability to be resourceful)* Must have attention to detail and take accountability.
