Role Description :
Plan : participate in project meetings, providing guidance and expertise regarding system options, risk, impact and costs vs. benefits.
Develop : Develop and build effective IT solutions. Provide strategic input into best practice to ensure modules are written in a manner that facilitate automated testing and deployment.
Deploy : Build effective scripts / software / tools that facilitate the compilation, testing and release of software applications.
Maintain : Engage in routine maintenance of deployment processes and automation and assist in the maintenance of the underlying applications to ensure automated testing and deployment of software is achievable.
Revise : implement and maintain tools that support our software provide metrics thereof.
Teamwork : Contribute to a culture of mutual trust, support and confidence within the IT team and in relationships with the business.
Document : Create and maintain quality documentation of systems in line with agreed standards.

Education / Experience :
Appropriate degree or diploma such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering.
At least 5 years’ experience working as a developer and / or dev op engineer in a corporate environment.
Solid technical experience with SQL, .NET (preferably C#) and web-based systems.
Proven experience in database design.
Proven experience with CI, automated testing, automated deployments, and Powershell (experience with Octopus deploy would be beneficial).
Experience working within Agile methodology would be an advantage.
Experience in financial services industry or similar requiring high levels of corporate governance.
Experience with Docker beneficial.
