We are looking to recruit a Sales Manager - Groups to establish, grow and maintain a database of high producing PCOs, Incentive Houses, Return Corporate conferencing, and specialised groups.
This role requires generating new high-quality leads and supporting the conversion process of both new and existing leads to grow our groups segment performance.
Key responsibilities will include :
Develop and foster relationships with key suppliers in the MICE and public sector.
Product knowledge, presentation, and Site inspections.
Direct sales through face-to-face calls, client event specific focus meetings.
Identify new markets, segments or opportunities that will increase sales.
Driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence through each customer experience.
Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs and strategy of the hotels.
Foster a positive and pro-active relationship with departments.
Focus on the conversion of key pieces of business with hotel teams.
Identify and contact key new leads timeously.
Continuous planning of key focus areas.
Monitor client satisfaction through post event debriefs.
Requirements :
Minimum 5+ years in a similar role within a 4 to 5* establishment.
Have a database of relationships established in the MICE sector.
Proficient in Opera PMS.
Ability to travel
