My client is looking for a seasoned Sales Executive to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the identification and conversion of new business development opportunities in the Agriculture Sector through the distribution services in and around South Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use creative methods to increase business development.
  • Develop Vender relations and better pricing.
  • Ensure that all purchase orders are received from clients prior to dispatching
  • Prepare quotations and tenders and monitor these objectives.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
  • The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and strong negotiation and influential skills.
  • Excellent negotiations skills
  • Excellent presentation, planning, and organisation skills
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong relationship management ability.
  • Excellent understanding of the Agriculture industry in South Africa. .
  • Ability to build reports and forecast on sales as well as trends.
  • Managing compliance with all relevant statutes and regulations as necessary.
  • Strong management experience and excellent leadership skills to develop a team of sales staff.
  • Extensive business-to-business sales experience is essential.
  • Matric
  • A BSC in Agriculture would be desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years'' experience in Agriculture sales industry.
