Minimum requirements for the role :

  • Qualification in occupational Health and Safety is required.
  • A minimum of a National Diploma is a prerequisite.
  • Previous experience in a similar role / environment is essential (preferably from the paint industry).
  • Previous multi-site experience is ideal.
  • Understand the application of the Health and Safety at Work and other legislation relevant to the companys business.
  • Effectively influence those at a senior level.
  • Professional in their approach to dealing with issues and employees.
  • Strong organisational or administrative skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Focused on delivering outstanding customer service to internal customers and contractors.
  • Strong teamwork skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of cross-functional team members.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
  • Must be able to prioritise and have a results-orientated approach.
  • Must be pro-active with good problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
