Relevant Diploma or Degree At least 5-10 years management experience in a production plant or department - or operations level and project management Experience in a role which include strategic decision making and planning Good understanding of managing staff on all levels Experience in tooling and equipment, plus Quality standards (ISO9001, VDA6, ISO / TS16949) Experience in budget control (headcounts & financials) and reporting systems Knowledge of environmental standards, plus excellent understanding of relevant labour legislation Excellent knowledge of engineering drawings Stores and warehouse understanding Understanding the Customer’s requirements (Quality and Logistics) including JIT-

Supply (Systems and procedures) Harness manufacturing experience, including cutting / crimping Fully PC literate including Excel Advance Must be willing to work flexible hours with the possibility of overtime Be contactable at all hours as deemed necessary Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to talk and liaise with both internal and external customers on all levels You will be responsible for : -

Manage and control the operations of the production plant, overseeing all departments Manage, control and co-ordinate all relevant projects as allocated Ensure the effective and professional delivery of all materials and projects within the constraints of relevant agreements & deadlines Ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness of the plant Ensure that goals and targets are met, and establish plans to meet and sustain such targets / goals Disciplining and technical management of relevant sub-

ordinates Defining the structure and strategy in consultation with the relevant Area Managers Ensuring the introduction and monitoring of quality standards in the entire unit Oversee and control relevant approved budgets Project and Action planning Reporting and escalation as may be applicable Represent the company with the customer Supplier, Service provider and 3rd party communication Effective Training and Development of all relevant employees in area of responsibility Assessment of all relevant employees in area of responsibility Administration and upkeep of procedural systems for auditing and reporting purposes Medical Aid Contribution, Provident Fund Contribution, Performance Bonuses, Annual Bonuses, Fuel Allowance, Mobile Phone Allowance
