Our client based in Pietermaritzburg is a Network Operations Call Center and are seeking Junior Engineers to join their team.
Junior Engineer duties include :
Answering incoming calls from WISP subscribers
Accepting and acknowledging tickets and calls allocated by Customer Services
Logging and updating tickets in the relevant WISP ticketing system
Provide technical help desk support to network users
Network performance analysis as per WISP procedures
Network availability monitoring as per WISP procedures
Fault logging with service providers as per WISP procedures
Evaluate connectivity issues with various LAN / WAN technologies
Strictly adhere to, and enforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations
Take ownership and responsibility of any issues from start through to a successful resolution or escalation
Respond to WISP queries on various escalation platforms
Are fluent in English.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have great customer service skills.
Can follow procedures, processes and learn quickly.
Are available to work alternating weekday, evening and weekend shifts
Are passionate about providing a good service to customers
