One of our clients based in Durbanville, one of the most beautiful hotels are looking for a Front Desk Manager to join their hospitality team.

Includes the below, but not limited to : Opening and closing of the hotel Serving clients (breakfast / lunch / dinner) Tending to all guests requests and needs Assisting with conference enquiries Making reservations (includes online GDS, Booking.

com, direct bookings, Group Bookings) Handling of petty cash Arranging casuals for functions, busy weekends Shift rosters First call telephone Assisting the General manager Admin duties Preparing and setting up functions Hosting functions Improving standards, revenue and occupancy Marketing Making sure that all reservations are dealt with and requests from guests are implemented prior to arrival Resolving client queries Tending to client complaints and making sure it is handled effectively Shift, weekend and public holiday work Requirements Must fluently speak, read and write English and Afrikaans Must have a valid driver’s licence Must have own transport Has excellent communication skills Is available ASAP Has excellence Microsoft knowledge Can think ahead as well as think on their feet Can work very well under pressure Must be healthy and active Preferably has no children Has either worked in the industry for 3 years, have a diploma in Hospitality OR at least 3 years Personal Assistant / Office Manager experience Must live in or near Durbanville
