Our client, a market leader in the South African insurance industry, is looking for an experienced *Sales Leader* to manage a team of Sales Consultants based in their *Port Elizabeth* office.

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in short term insurance and have managed a successful sales team.

Requirements :

  • Must have a Matric with a tertiary qualification * 3 years' experience in managing a sales team within the short-term insurance industry* FAIS Credits (min 30 credits in short term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010);
  • or if date of first appointment is on or after 01 / 01 / 2010, a full recognised qualification as per the FSCA qualification list* FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5)* If you are registered for one Class of Business (Personal or Commercial) you are required to have 12 CPD (continuous professional development) points.

    If you registered for two Classes of Business (Personal plus Commercial), you required to have 18 CPD points* Must have own transport (CAR) and license* Must have a proven track record of leading a high performing sales team * Strong background in getting the best out of your team* Very strong communicator*Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to : Steering and guiding the sales team to achieve their sales objectives and KPIs* Ensuring the team is using the CRM system and tracking all their sales calls, meetings and client interactions * Ensuring all clients engagement is of a high standard and in accordance with all rules and regulations * Ensuring sales plans are rolled out as agreed in one to one meetings* Ensuring competitor information is gathered and used accordingly * Offer training, guidance, and support to your sales team* Ensuring your region is resourced correctly with plans in place to bring in new members as and when required* Steering team meetings* Pulling reports and stats to provide to management* Management of poor performance and disciplinary issuesSalary on offer is *R45,000 R50,000 PM* + laptop, Softphone on laptop and 3G card.

    Successful Sales Managers will also be eligible for annual incentives
