Boutique Hotel PA to MD

Port Shepston, KZN

Salary R10K - R12K Live in

Luxury owner run boutique lodge seeking to employ an Executive PA to the MD.

You would need to have :

A post graduate diploma or similar qualification in office management; hospitality or accounting diploma or similar

At least 3 years experience as a PA to a General Manager or a similar position.

Knowledge of Innkeeper software is an advantage however not essential.

To be well presented, professional & excellent communicator.

To be courteous with an even temperament.

Very strong organizational & administrative skills.

Computer literate and exceptional eye for detail & telephone skills.

You must be fluent in English (Read, Write and Speak)

The secretarial & management function will include, but not be limited to :

Dealing with day to day issues and providing feedback to the MD

Take and re-direct telephone calls for the MD

Maintain diary, appointments, meetings & travel arrangements

Liaise with suppliers and contractors

Oversea housekeeping & maintenance departments

Organise & attend meetings preparing agendas, taking, typing & distributing minutes

Daily management reporting

Maintain efficient & accurate filing systems, electronic & paper files.

Handle & respond to guest complaints / complaint letters / emails

To develop & improve all efficiencies of the role

Prepare repeat guest & VIP complementary gifts

Work closely with & support HODs

To build external relationships in the community

Marketing, PR assist with site inspections & co-ordination thereof, working with the appropriate HODs.

The candidate must be able to :

Maintain the strictest confidentiality at all times with regard to client, guest &personnel related matters

Attention to detail in terms of content & accuracy of all correspondence & communication

Possess excellent interpersonal & communicative skills and an ability to integrate in to all levels of the lodge

Show high levels of organisational skills and efficiency

Be calm & productive under pressure

Be proactive & resourceful

Possess excellent customer service / interaction skills

Be able to work well under pressure, both as part of a team and also working on own initiative

Must be approachable

Flexibility of job duties / attitude & hours is a must

Clear understanding of luxury & what it entails

Social media experience will be advantageous

You will be required to go to the property for interview
