Purpose of Role :
Manage the Inland business unit, managing the mining of all teams.

Vision and Strategy :
Execute a Risk Management plan strategy that aligns to that of the company''s Global strategy and priorities.
Communicate and execute company Value Proposition.
Communicate goals for Risk Management plan to drive revenue and Net Operating Income growth.

Build the best team.
Develop and objectively promote the best people and address underperformance quickly and effectively.
Promote a culture of accountability and empowerment.
Ensure that client-facing colleagues understand the role and value proposition of RMP.
Ensure close collaboration between RMP and Sales; Placement; MCO; Advisory, & Specialty
Develop broad and deep relationships across all areas of our business, and collaborate effectively.
Identify talent and develop a strong succession pipeline for key positions, including your own role.
Support the training and development of colleagues.
Clients and Markets :
Develop full knowledge of the RMP client portfolio, and identify and drive the changes required to improve performance and quality.
Lead efforts to improve client retention in the RMP Inland.
Articulate the value proposition of RMP to clients and prospects, and ensure that this is applied consistently.
Develop and ensure that strategic account plans are in place for key clients. Growth
Drive revenue growth.
Identify growth opportunities in collaboration with Sales organisations; in new prospect names and expanded business.
Drive organic growth.
Ensure pricing of services is implemented to ensure profitability of accounts.
Drive effective cross selling initiatives with all incoming business within the country.
Work with Placement to drive revenue growth by converting Products and Facilities opportunities via the Alternative Revenue & Distribution Initiative.
Work with Placement to drive revenue growth by identifying Reinsurance commissions for international placements.
Financial Management :
Be fully accountable for the financial performance.
Drive all revenue enhancing initiatives.
Collect & report RMP revenue and expenses.
Revenue Forecast accuracy.
Demonstrate effective expense management.
Operational Management :
Take accountability for operational processes.
RMP Inland business oversight in collaboration with the LCPA team.
Ensure that the RMP Standards and Client First Principles are followed by the RMP Inland team.
Ensure Placement Proficiency Core Capability is embedded into the business.
Qualifications and Experience Required :
Minimum 10 years appropriate experience in short term insurance, sales and client service delivery function
Matric, relevant formal qualification and AIISA (or similar)
Must be FAIS compliant
Must have passed Regulatory Exams level 1
Must be fluent in English
Fluency in Afrikaans will be an added advantage Behavioural Competencies and Job Skills Required
