As Marketing Data & Research Specialist you will be responsible for enabling cutting-edge management decision making based on quality data in support of Regional & Commercial Units (CU).

Analyse, interpret and deliver market intelligence data for seed, crop protection and SAT for the Africa Middle East marketLead & facility monthly market intelligence for Region as a build-up from CUs to drive planning processDeliver the Regions GTM (Go to Market) data accuracy to enable decision makingDeliver the Regions 5 Year Plan market data & assumptions driven by Pricing & Volume analytics and competitor insightsMarket and Competitor Intelligence MonitoringFeed-through market trends and assumptions to Demand Planners and relevant Marketing Team members to enable intelligent forecast both tactical & strategicMarket research to drive knowledge base on market trends, competitor monitoring and movementsMonitor marketplace trends such as cost of production, technology adoption, farm consolidation, weather impact risk assessment and purchasing patternsCollaborating with Marketing Managers on competitor launches impacting business strategy and decision makingOngoing monitoring of price movement and impact on market valueServe as the connection & centralized point for data truth for CUKey Stakeholders and Interactions : InternalCommercial Unit Leaders, Commercial Unit Marketing Managers, Demand Planner, Regional Marketing Team, Global Business Intelligence Platform, Regional & CU Finance Business PartnersExternalRelevant Agriculture information hubs, industry stakeholders such as BFAP, Grain SA, AgBiz, Commercial Banks and other compliant Industry BodiesLocation : Preferred location Centurion, Gauteng#LI-NA1QualificationsTo Grow What Matters, You Will NeedTertiary education in agroeconomics, business, or related fieldAt least 3 to 5 years of experience in data analyticsAdvanced Excel skills & analytics requiredPowerBI will be an advantageProfessional background in agriculture and AME market will be an advantageWho Are We Looking For?
