Mascor is currently looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant in our Winterton workshop. Job Functions Administration,Data Capturing Industries Agriculture Specification The purpose of this position is to compile, maintain and update workshop records.

The duties of the successful candidate will be :

1. Warranty claims

  • Submit claims within franchiser's requirements.
  • Keep daily / monthly WIP within parameters
  • Maintain up to date and accurate warranty claims register
  • Check and confirm warranty parts are tagged and stored correctly
  • Maintain storage and disposal of replaced parts after audit
  • Follow up on all returned, rejected and unpaid warranty claims
  • Responsible for overseas parts shipping
  • Manage emails and all correspondence pertaining to warranty claims
  • 2. Administrative duties

  • Opening and closing of job cards
  • Set up quotations
  • Preparing and actioning invoices
  • Issuing and requesting of order numbers to and from suppliers & customers
  • Filing making sure all documents are filed neatly
  • Processing and allocating supplier invoices, maintaining register for supplier invoices
  • Balance petty cash daily
  • Act as Health and Safety officer
  • 3. Customer service

  • Ensure customer satisfaction is at 100% and all queries are attended to timeously. Requirements 1. Qualifications :
  • Min : Grade 12
  • Ideal : Diploma in office administration
  • 2. Experience :

  • 1 Year experience in a similar role.
  • 3. Training :

  • Understanding & basic knowlege of Labour Law will be advantageous.
  • 4. Hazard & Safety requirements :

  • Good understanding of the OHS Act will be advantageous.
  • 5. KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Able to operate under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to work in a team.
  • Computer literacy,
