Responsibilities : Manage all non-development activities to meet client project delivery and production support targets.

Customer Relationship : Point of contact for all customers operational interactions. Driven to ensure customers expectations are exceeded or met.

Professional, helpful, open and honest approach with customers. Driving any issues raised by customers with the management team.

Communication of urgent system issues and potential risks to management. Development Team : Interacting and working closely with the Scrum Master sharing a common goal of producing relevant, valuable, stable working software that meets or exceeds client functional and time expectations.

Attending product backlog refinement, daily stand up, review sessions. Logging and managing all project tasks on Jira, including full analysis of task in terms of classification (bug / enhancements / development), priorities and deadline dates.

Managing logs as per the defined and communicated issue logging process. Taking responsibility for all customer environments, including the restoring of DBs and maintaining the environments document.

Should be able to describe at all times to an interested party : Project vision and target dates. The teams commitment. A high-

level understanding at a business functional level of what the team is working on and is to be worked on. Teams progress towards achieving their commitment.

Impediments and actions to resolve. Release Management : Ownership in conjunction with the Product Owner and Client Stakeholders of the release and implementation plans.

Preparation and distribution of release notes. Ensuring that all software releases are tested prior to deploying to client environments (manual and automated testing).

This is achieved by the CSM in conjunction with the divisional test team (if present). Driving customer sign off of a release.

Training of end users with regard to new functional features. Scheduling deployments in consultation with the client representative and Scrum Master.

Responsible for the deployment preparation, deployment configuration load, post deployment checks and deployment sign off from the customer as per the defined procedure.

Management of R-Code deployments (hotfix) as per the defined process together with the Software Engineer Champion and client representative.

Regression : Ensures that the Regression environments are kept up to date by deploying the latest releases and patches timeously.

Provide the regression scripting team the necessary test case / test scenario recordings as well as the associated check points.

Review on a daily basis the nightly batch run report and feed through any bugs to the Product Owner. Skills & Experience : Relevant qualification 3+ years relevant experience (Preferably in the Life Insurance industry) Practical experience in the Systems Development Life Cycle and associated Project Management processes.
