Our client needs an IT Executive to manage this critical department. They need a hands-on professional who enjoys rolling up his or her sleeves and working with the team to achieve goals.

You will be responsible for our entire customer and virtual channel team. Your digital, financial, virtual channel and operational experience will help their systems grow as they expand both instore and online.

Key Competencies and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Programming, Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years’ management experience in an IT environment
  • 5+ years’ experience working with financial systems
  • 5+ years’ experience working with digital solutions systems
  • Experience providing IT solutions in a retail or financial environment preferred

  • Responsibilities :

  • Execution of strategic development on customer and virtual products within the company
  • Plan and propose insights into the future IT landscape discussion of the companies architecture to ensure competitiveness in the ever changing digital landscape
  • Ensure the execution of Development and day-to-day management of customer solutions built specifically to meet the Group company needs
  • Responsible for the Development and Operational of all the company virtual engagement solutions such as websites and mobile applications
  • Responsible for the Development and Operational responsibility of financial services (In store credit solution and consumer bank account), VAS (DSTV payments, Cross border money transfers etc) across both physical (In-
  • store) and virtual channels

  • Ensure both security and consumer compliance is in place and reviewed constantly to protect the customer and the Group
  • Responsible for development, deployment and operational management of in-house developed parcel management solution Paxi
  • Providing direction for the development of e-commerce solutions within the group on the chosen platform
  • Support of and integration into customer service desk solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of the latest digital trends in the consumer facing retail and marketing space with the ability to lead strategic discussions
  • Ensure all products make effective use of digital channels (Google, Facebook etc) to ensure online success of solutions
  • Day-to-day management of a team of 20 highly motivated professionals including architects, developers and product specialists
  • Responsible for the overall departmental budget and revenue targets
  • Be an integral member of the Executive team in driving the company and it’s IT solutions into the future
  • Ability to work in a virtual team with Digital Transformation Agents in utilizing technology to Transform Customer and Staff member experience
  • Responsible for all day-to-day needs of the digital team
