Qualifications & Requirements :
Completed BSc Actuarial Science (advantageous)
At least one or two exams from completing Actuarial qualification
3+ years experience in an actuarial, or similar, role
SQL programming experience
Programming language competencies : VBA, C++, SSIS, R etc (advantageous)
My client is seeking a Life Data Analytics Actuary to create / maintain the terms of trade basis for the organisations Life business.
The position requires someone with strong communication skills as the role involves liaising with internal / external clients in order to under their systems and data, as well as analysing, monitoring and reporting on its content and quality.
The core function of the role :
The monitoring of exiting inforce business.
Establishing terms of trade business.
Assist Life Valuations / Pricing with set up of decrement assumptions.
Ad hoc analyses and actuarial duties if, and when, necessary.
Reviewing data supplied by client and Data Team
Make judgement / assumptions to fix data if, and when, required.
