QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCY AND EXPERIENCETertiary qualification. FSR Fit & Proper compliant (NQF Level 5, Regulatory Exams), Financial Planning Higher Certificate (NQF 6) (preferred), Management Certificate / Diploma / Degree and continuous learning is expected.
MS Office proficient and proficiency in English (second language proficiency preferable); drivers licence10 15 years experience in Employees Benefits Consulting and 5 years experience in people management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITYPeople ManagementHiring and staff developmentPerformance management of EB KRAsMentorship of the Consulting Managers, Senior Consultants and Service ConsultantsAttend high level strategy meetings with the Consultants until required competency levels are achievedAssisting staff and clients with high level queries and issuesVet emails and documentation that go out to clientsManagement of staff related issuesHigh level feedback and reporting on a monthly basisMonitor record keeping by employeesClient responsibilitiesDeveloping servicing strategies and engaging with clients on ongoing basisImplementation and management of the consulting strategy and projects into the consulting team - ensuring current service strategies are in place and followedStrategic reporting to clients doing ongoing needs analysis and scheme reviewsPresenting and preparing Exco presentation to corporate clientsQuarterly strategic meetings with corporate clientsBuild strong strategic and business relationships with clientsControl the overall ICU and CRM client strategy for all clientsProject management of new clients into their respective teamsOverseeing year end Healthcare and Retirement Fund year-end training projectSubmission of management reportsManagement of Service ProvidersHold strategic relationships with Medical scheme and Retirement Fund administrators service teamsHold strategic relationships with alternative product providers (i.
e. OcsaCare, PrimeCure etc.)Manage relationships with healthcare and retirement fund providers / administratorsBuilding relationship with potential new suppliers and providersFinancial responsibilitiesMonthly sign off, of consultant client allocations, revenue, and revenue allocationManagement of service delivery versus client revenueSign off, of leave and travel claims.
