Applicants are required to meet the following criteria :

  • Matric with 5+ years management experience in a restaurant environment
  • Understanding of Profit and Loss
  • Must have a strong focus on increasing sales
  • Basic HR / IR knowledge (disciplinary / grievance process)
  • The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to :

  • Ensure restaurant is effectively run and optimally staffed at all times
  • Assign new staff development and courses where required
  • Handle performance appraisals, facilitate management and team meetings as well as workshops
  • Manage all Employee Relations issues
  • Ensure adherence to all legal Health and Safety regulations
  • Manage all customer complaints
  • Follow up on an issues arising from Dept of Health audits
  • Maximize sales through exceptional operational standards
  • Develop and manage store incentives
  • Ensure that Point of Sales are up to date at all times
  • Maximize profitability by understanding and controlling costs
  • Ensure product availability
  • Periodic financial audits and attend area meetings
  • Reviewing and analyze paperwork
  • Manage new product roll outs and projects
  • Recruitment of staff as required, and act as Manager when required
  • Salary : Negotiable
