Minimum requirements for the role : Must have a BSc degree in Life Sciences or similarMust have current sales experience in the chemical industryMinimum 3 5 years Product management will be of benefitMinimum 3-5 Years raw material sales experience will be requiredMinimum 5 years technical or commercial experience within the Personal Care and Homecare industries will be of benefitStrong price negotiation skills and a sound understanding of pricing structures are importantThe successful candidate will be responsible for : Managing a portfolio of specialty and commodity raw materials strategically into Personal Care, Homecare and industries nationally.

Managing a portfolio of key account customers and Technology Partners.Strategically growing the portfolio of products for each Technology Partner.

Strategising the business outlook for 3 5 years and ensure materialization of objectives.Ensuring margin growth on the portfolio and profitability growth year on year.

Performing working capital management, including 12 month and 24 month budgeting.Assisting the sales team with technical briefs.

Ensuring a healthy working platform of new products for each Technology Partner.Performing price negotiations at senior level.

Attending internal meetings.Promoting the company products and image.Managing key accounts and developing new business.Posting advertising and editorial material on a monthly basis and submitting articles on time.

Delivering technical presentations at customers on new product launches.Developing industry / market knowledge within the Personal Care and Homecare markets.

Growing customer base year on year in terms of volume, revenue and margins.Attending conferences as needed within the Personal Care industry.

Strategically adding raw materials to the existing product portfolio.Responsible for forecasting and purchasing of raw materials on a monthly basis.

Sourcing opportunities outside the current portfolio for possible acquisitions.Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gainedPlease note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
