Purpose* To influence and direct sales, retain current business, grow market share through market development and building of sustainable business relationships against agreed targets.
This role is based in Bloemfontein and is responsible for the Free State and Northen Cape regions *Job Outputs*
To undertake appropriate planning for new and existing work sites in order to increase sales and market share within the work sites.
To coordinate various sales and marketing activities on a daily and weekly basis in order to increase sales and brand visibility in the market.
To monitor sales activities, sales results and defined and agreed quality metrics of the business generated from work site to ensure profitability and sustainability.
To influence sales and premium collection operations by planning, organising, monitoring, and allocating resources, in collaboration with sales leadership, within the respective business units in order to ensure delivery of agreed targets.
To foster and maintain sustainable business relationships with key stakeholders in order to create and facilitate future sales opportunities, enable long-term growth, as well as to obtain preferred supplier status and brand loyalty.
To identify and quantify resources required for sales and marketing initiatives with the intent of bringing in profitable new business.
To conduct market research in order to obtain market intelligence in order to provide guidance to the business unit as well as to focus on current and future sales opportunities.
To acquire new worksites, as well as to explore sales opportunities at existing worksites to enable business growth and sustainability.
To compile and submit accurate and timeous reports on varied worksite metrics as required by the business, in order to facilitate decision making in the business unit.
To ensure that all relevant external legislation, Liberty and Worksite specific processes, procedures and policies are adhered to at the worksites in order to mitigate the risk associated with non-compliance. *Minimum Experience* * *
Min 3 - 5 years' experience in the same role / similar environment / sales environment within the Financial Services sector - ideally long term insurance
Having managed a set of key accounts within the Financial services - ideally in the emerging consumer market segment
Fulfilled the role of liason with clients - particularly experience dealing with trade unions / trade union representatives
Marketing experience and demonstrated stakeholder management with a track record of opening stop orders / experience dealing with lodgements
Business development experience having grown a book of clients and being a sales enabler with key market players - in both private and government sector
3 year tertiary qualification (Business subjects and / or marketing subjects ) (essential )
