We are seeking a multi-tasking go-getter who is not afraid of challenges and relishes bringing order to chaos. Reporting to the COO, the successful candidate will support the sales process from pre-sales all the way through to post-sales support, manage the spares sales, co-ordinate and manage all online activity on behalf of the company, event & office management and support the expansion plans of the business.
This role requires a process and result orientated individual who can self-manage priorities, while maintaining an internal and external customer service focus.
The ability to critically evaluate existing processes and come up with improvements will stand you in good stead.
Key Responsibilities of the role include :
Pre, Existing and After Sales Support :
Support the COO and CEO with new business solicitation of leads
Keep track of ALL deal negotiations ensuring that all parties concerned are in the loop, have the relevant information they need, co-ordinate documents to ensure they are available at the right time & submitted.
Assist in the execution & completion of service delivery and ensure internal and external client satisfaction.
Once deals are concluded oversee all necessary co-ordination & administration regarding the plane, pilot, necessary aviation bodies, documentation, finances and timeframes.
Receive, analyse and resolve customer problems, requests, and inquiries.
Prepare and send quotes to customers.
Place orders and follow up on order progress.
Ensure that all invoices (spares & FDT) are processed and sent to customers.
Liaise with suppliers on behalf of the company
Co-ordinate and manage all online activity :
Document all business requirements and ensure the development team is correctly briefed on online projects.
Project Manage all online projects and systems integrations.
Liaise with digital marketing team on all thing’s social media.
Report back to the CEO and COO with progress reports, status updates and other ad hoc reporting requirements.
Event & office management
Participate, administrate and coordinate Customer visits, Trade shows & Company training.
Annual AAA conferences.
Webinair series - P&W / ATI.
Outreach (We want to have customer interactions, so we go see a client in a certain area / regions etc to do presentations / demonstrations) programs.
Manage all branding requirements - clothing, stationary, banners, posters.
Flight Simulator planning (Helping run the simulator business from an ops / admin perspective).
Researching new projects in Africa that is on no-ones radar.
Country Type certification (labour of love. Each of our aircrafts have different certificates. Each country needs to approve each certification.
Liaising with each countries CAA to get those certificates approved).
Manage daily office operations and take care of all office requirements.
Participate in long-term organizational planning.
Custodian of the company standard operating procedures.
Key requirements of the role :
A relevant tertiary qualification.
Previous experience in the aviation industry is essential.
Previous experience in a New Business and / or Sales Support role.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
