DUTIES :

Candidates who meet the above listed criteria will be expected to perform the following task and will therefore need to produce a portfolio of evidence on the below listed duties.

General responsibilities (including but not limited to) :

  • Identifying sales opportunities to grow the market share
  • Identifying, calling and selling the company products and services (fleet management and vehicle tracking solutions) to potential customers
  • Maintain key corporate client accounts
  • Contacting clients regarding renewal of contracts
  • Arrange meetings with clients at their premises
  • Ensuring monthly and yearly sales targets are reached through planning and executing plans for new business development and key account management
  • Adhere to all Departmental and Company Policies, Procedures and SOPs
  • Identify client needs and propose need satisfaction offerings
  • Developing long-term customer relationships in order to promote and reinforce value propositions.
  • Promote products and services to existing key account customers
  • Do client presentations
  • Preparation of accurate quotations and supporting documentation
  • Following up on customer requests, orders placed, out of stock situations and all communication to customers.
  • After sales service
  • Attending to and resolving client queries and complaints
  • Monitor market trends
  • Obtaining complete knowledge of competitor products and markets
  • Evaluate market trends and propose solutions to management
  • Completing all sales administration efficiently
  • Providing daily sales feedback and activity reports to Management
  • Assisting Management with additional information when needed
  • Advise management on outstanding installations required
  • REQUIREMENTS :

    The ideal applicant should have :

  • Matric
  • Sales and Marketing dipl / degree will secure
  • Technical skills

  • Min 5 years Corporate Relationship Manager / New Business Development Consultant experience
  • Min 5 years experience in Fleet Bureau and telematics industry
  • Strong understanding of vehicle tracking, fuel management solutions and Fleet bureau management software, CANBUS J1708 AND J1939, Autowatch, Sanji and Shurlock car alarms, immobilisers, anti-hijack systems
  • Strategic prospecting skills
  • Rapport building and client qualification questioning skills
  • Great objection prevention and handling ability
  • Perfect presentation skills and closing technique ability
  • Must be able to gain commitment
  • Excellent Post sale relationship management
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Own Car required
  • Valid drivers license
  • Behavioural competencies

  • Organisational skills
