Buildsmart Requisitions & PO’s
Request quotations for various material, goods and services.
Creating all Build Smart requisitions for the purpose of buying as required by the office and yard.
Create (where applicable) and approve all Build Smart requisitions for various departments to the value of R20 000.
Creating all Build Smart requisitions for the purpose of buying as required for various contracts.
Creating all Build Smart requisitions for all subcontractors associated with various contracts.
Creating all Build Smart requisitions for company’s requirements.
Ensure timeous and complete delivery of all PODS from all the sites as well as the suppliers.
Ensure all creditors are up to date and add on new creditors
Updating & Maintaining of Quality Management Systems
Accurate and timeous maintenance of all charts related to projects, including container, toilet and plant hire.
Compile monthly stock take accurately.
Create credit request note to suppliers when required.
Create and distribute new requisition templates to all sites.
Requisition training to Site Agents / Clerks and Foreman on a monthly
Stores and Deliveries
All requisitions are to be signed and approved as per the company’s policy and procedure.
All office or stock deliveries to be followed up on, in order to ensure accurate delivery.
Manage of all driver logistics daily to ensure all requisitions are delivered to sites.
Manage (through system development and implementation) all stores, yard and maintenance requirements to ensure that stores manager is adhering to policies and procedures.
Receive and timeously manage all building maintenance related enquiries.
Ensure that all agreed upon timeframes for reporting back to Finance Manager is adhered to.
Issue of Site Book ie. site instructions (cost and non-cost related); variation order; contra charge; and PPE.
Handling of site queries.
Manage all lines of communication effectively and timeously.
Ensure all administrative duties are up to date and accurate at any given time.
All documentation is to be updated, signed off and submitted on time.
Handling of site queries.
Assisting estimating department when required.
Ad hoc tasks as required by the department
Connect with all internal stakeholders including Estimating, Operations, Quantity Surveying
Supplier and subcontract management and networking
Manage all external stakeholders including suppliers and sub-contractor
All aspects of Strategic Buying
Fully computer literate
Logistic management experience
Competent in sourcing of materials, goods and services
System maintenance and management
Receiving and dispatching of material
Risk management ability
Talent in negotiation and networking
Aptitude in analytical ability and working with numbers
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Mature, proactive, resourceful, hands-on with good initiatives and ability to leverage organizational resources
Able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure & able to evaluate high-risk decisions
Strong system maintenance ability
Managing budgets and planning according to project requirements
Strong administration skills to ensure no delays in the process
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS :
Relevant course in procurement or buying
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE - +- 3 Years’ relevant industry experience
2 years buying experience
SALARY R16 000- R18 000 per month with benefits
