Plan and carry out daily counting of raw materials for the East London plant as per cycle count plan. Perform MRP and reporting for the plant as well as supervise Logistics Analysts.
Responsibilities :
Manage and supervise daily cycle counts on all materials in accordance with the ABC analysis.
Perform line audits to ensure that the line / s is labelled correctly.
Perform BOM audits.
Perform stock take function and any other reasonable and lawful function as delegated.
Assist in the Logistics performance monitoring.
Monitoring and management of performance of logistics analyst and cycle counters
Run and analyse MPR for Long-term and Short-term releases from Customer, reporting for Supply chain
Monitoring of Mercedes Benz Self-bill process
Monitoring of Back-Flush accuracy
Daily and Monthly reporting to management
Analysis of Customer Releases
Loading of Short-term demands
Running with MRP process
Checking of transactions accuracy (Sales, Backflush and Scanning etc.)
Creating of Invoices and Returns in ERP system
Participating on BOM reviews
Managing of daily cycle counts on all materials in accordance with the ABC analysis.
Performing of stock discrepancy analysis
Perform stock take function and any other reasonable and lawful function as delegated.
Monitoring and management of cycle counters and logistics analysts’ performance.
Daily and monthly reporting Cycle counts, aging report, performance
Receiving planning
Manage and supervise daily receiving
Monitoring and management of receiving department performance
Manage and supervise daily dispatches
Monitoring and management of receiving dispatch performance
Requirements :
Grade 12 with Post Matric Purchasing / Logistics related qualification.
Minimum 3 years Logistics / planning experience including core knowledge and skills
Supervisory or management skills essential
PC and System knowledge (Microsoft Office and Office 365-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 2016)
PC and System Knowledge (Microsoft Office Advanced Excel).
QAD ERP system knowledge is an advantage
Materials flow (FIFO, KANBAN, JIS systems)
