Job PurposeTo negotiate contracts, prices and terms of business with suppliers whilst creating opportunities to minimize cost and apply procurement best practice tools and methods, toward ensuring SLA commitments are honoured.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesSLAs AND CONTRACTSEnsures continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicates any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.

Monitors market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.Researches and evaluates areas of opportunity and reduces costs where possible.

Assesses and evaluates suppliers, undertakes performance reviews to ensure contract compliance.Manages performance improvement activities including the exploration of alternative sources for goods and materialsContinuous availability and supply of materials as per SLA.

Market trends / best practice and competitor profiles monitored.Research and opportunities for development initiated and presented.

Supplier performance continuously monitored feedback on performance improvements.Supplier relationships / service providers and networks established.

COMPLIANCEOperates within controls and procedures in order to ensure the integrity of AutoX.Identifies and reports risks / areas of concern to management within area of responsibility.

Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures to prevent fruitless, wasteful and irregular expenditure.

Ensures compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during contract award and supplier negotiations.

Ensures and promotes BBBEEE compliance on behalf of AutoX.Compliance with applicable regulations and procedures (contracts and purchasing).

Risks reported to Manager.Availability of documentation and records.Cost and expenditure monitored waste minimized.AutoX compliant with BBBEEECOST AND FINANCIAL CONTROLContributes to the budget preparation process.

Promotes and communicates the effective, efficient, economical and transparent use of financial and other resources.Monitors and controls expenditure against budget and ensures spending occurs within budgetary limits and AutoX financial guidelines, report deviations to direct Manager.

Explores opportunities to control and reduce costs.Budget input provided in a timely manner.Compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.

Cost and expenditure monitored waste minimized.Opportunities to control and reduce cost presented and implemented.CUSTOMER SERVICEMaintains effective working relationships with customers (both internal and external) towards rendering highest quality of services.

Ensures the professional and consistent approach when building and man aging all supplier relationships.Represents AutoX in meetings with relevant stakeholders.

Identifies and solves problems creatively whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity in line with AutoX core values.Client / Customer / Employee satisfaction index.
