We are looking for an experienced Regional Manager for a popular Fast-Food company in the Western Cape area. Must have 5 years relevant Regional Manager experience Responsibilities Ensure group compliance with guest experience survey programsManage customer complaints : tracking and resolution within prescribed timeframesCommunicate the company and brand strategy, focus areas and valuesPartner with Franchisor and internal departments to improve operationsEnsure group compliance with Restaurant Operations Compliance Checks carried out quarterly in each outlet by external food safety auditorsDevelop and drive a client centric culture within the groupSet annual sales targets and budgets per outlet and regionManage, monitor and guide the regions to achieve business objectivesCompetitor analysis to identify opportunities to grow revenueFind ways to grow sales by testing and adding additional sales layersShrinkage control and loss prevention, direct responsibility for purchases P&LEnsure profit maximisationEnsure solid financial controls are in place and continuously improved to minimise financial loss to the businessConduct branch visits to ensure effective management and operationImprove policies and processes in line with organisational goals and targetsConduct sales and operational meetings weekly and monthly with Area ManagersEnsure Occupational health and safety regulations are complied withMonitor operational results and ensure opportunities are actionedEnforce strict adherence of all staff to food safety standardsLiaise with suppliers on service levels, delivery issues, raw product complaints and creditsOversee management compliance with stock ordering and replenishmentMonitor manage and improve support services like HR, Finance, Maintenance, and accounts to improve efficiencyManage local marketing budget spending in line with guidelines to ensure optimum return on investmentTrack performance of local marketing campaignsSite selection and approval, includes identifying new sites, relocations or closuresLease negotiations with landlords for new sites and renewalsCompiling of all information required in business economic model, new site submission and presentation to investment committeePrepare yearly development pipeline including new builds, remodels, relocations and closuresEnsure all new projects are completed within required timeframes and budgetsManage repairs and maintenance budget and teamManage and develop subordinatesPlan required staffing levels and management per branch according to business needsApprove and support recruitment and selection of area managers and branch management staffImplement and manage performance processes for the regionsProvide coaching, oversee training and provide counselling as requiredEnsure good industrial relations practices are followedImplement and manage employee compensation, reward and benefits policyEnsure clear effective communication with all stakeholders RequirementsGrade 12Relevant Degree or Diploma (BCom Business Management or similar)MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 Years Fast Food store based Regional Manager experience managing at least 3 Area Managers for approximately 15 branchesMicros / GAAP or similar POS experience5 years Food Cost, Labour Cost and Cash / Stock Control Management experienceValid driver’s licenseAble to travel extensively when neededFully Computer literate - MS OfficeAdvanced Excel skillsAble to work outside normal work hours when required by operational requirementsGood communication skills Both verbal and written with all levels of staffGood Management and leadership skillsAbility to multi task efficientlySalary is subject to relevant operational experience and skill setSouth African citizens onlyCompany DescriptionPopular Fast Food company
