An honours qualification such as LLB, B Com (hons)
A B. Ed (hons) or M. Ed would be advantageous
Educational experience as an assessment manager, lecturer (law, commerce), teacher.
Selection of examiners and moderators and ongoing quality assurance of all examiners and moderators.
Management of examination and moderation processes and procedures to the point where examination papers are print ready.
Overall quality assurance of question papers and memoranda of all subjects.
Developing, implementing and monitoring assessment policies, systems and procedures.
Developing relationships with and monitoring of all tuition providers.
Recruitment and accreditation of new tuition providers.
Ensure the new curriculum is properly implemented.
Liaison with all relevant regulatory bodies (SAQA, FASSET, QCTO, and DHET) as needed.
Dealing with issues surrounding accreditation as an assessment body.
Managing the revision of company textbooks.
Selecting relevant textbooks for each course in conjunction with the examiners and moderators.
Responsible for all quality assurance processes to do with examinations.
Ensuring syllabuses are updated.
Development and implementation of learnerships and accreditation of workplace providers.
Keeping education policies updated.
Keeping abreast of developments in the education field in order to keep the Institute informed.
