Aspen Global is the Mauritian subsidiary of Aspen Pharmacare Holdings (Aspen), the world’s fifth largest supplier of branded and generic pharmaceutical products.

We are responsible for sourcing and managing more than 3,500 stock keeping units from over 75 manufacturing sites around the world and supplying to more than 150 countries internationally.

Since its inception Aspen Global has supplied 200 million packs of medicine worldwide and currently manages more than 6,000 orders and supplies 85 million packs annually.

The backbone of Aspen Global’s business, and one of the reasons for its success, is the talented pool of people comprising more than 200 staff members across nine departments.

As part of our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Project Asssitant to work in our Projects Team.

Your Objectives

This role is responsible for administrative support to the Project Lead on projects such as manufacturing site transfers, API source changes and product launches by co-

ordinating activities with a multi-disciplinary team

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure project plans and action logs are up to date and contain accurate information in order for the business to use the data for decision making.
  • Monitor any slippage on critical project milestones in order to proactively identify and manage risks.
  • Effectivley coordinate project meetings by sending out calendar invitations, leading meetings and circulating meeting agendas & minutes in order to ensure project alignment amongst stakeholders
  • Effectivley coordinate, communicate and interact with stakeholders in other departments and with external stakeholders in order to maintain smooth delivery of actions and issues management
  • Prepare and assist in publishing project metrics and dashboards
  • Provide general admin support to project team including ad-hoc activities
  • Requirements

  • Excellent examples of being able to think critically to come up with effective solutions quickly
  • Ability to organise and plan in an efficient manner
  • MS Office experience
  • Work experience in a business environment
  • Qualified to degree level
