As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible to target and prepare winning solutions for the LBU or End User Sales to capture new business opportunities based on sound market intelligence to generate sales growth, identify business opportunities and propose business cases to local management.
You will also be responsible to drive market intelligence.
Your tasks as a Business Development Manager will include the following :
Market Intelligence :
Use all approved sources to collect, structure and analyze technical or commercial market information for the development of the turbocharger business.
Collect, structure and analyze actual and future customer and market data (New / Service Business).
Evaluate product or pricing or sales strategy (service portfolio, service network development, etc.).
Evaluate key indicators and market trends from macroeconomic market analysis and translate it into local business opportunities.
Business Development :
Define market position and analyze strengths and weaknesses or opportunities or threats profile to propose and implement market share improvement initiatives.
Ensure collected data is structured and defined into appropriate grouping (i.e. market segments or customer classification or country or Areas) and monitor trends.
Regularly communicate with End User Sales and LBU manager to exchange information about markets, customers, trends and future needs.
Identify opportunities and present business cases to LBU management.
Execute development projects (business cases or product development).
Bachelor Degree in Engineering
5 years’ of experience in Sales and business development.
Ability to recognize customer needs and transfer it to an offer
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
fluency in English with comprehension and writing
Basic Know-How in engine and turbocharger principles,
Ability to travel for a period of 2 weeks (per quarter)
