Job Description

Execution of the company policy on Asset Care Management

Review and improve the Asset Care Plans and Standard Procedures

Work Planning and Control

Capturing quality data i.e. hours, work done, spares used and root cause analysis on JDE

Loading of BOM or spares list against each Planned Maintenance on JDE

Maintaining an up to-date asset register for all sites

Participating in RCA forums across the sites

Reporting on maintenance cost by machine or line, breakdowns by machines or line weekly and Engineering availability by machine or line

Reporting on adherence to schedules and backlog weekly

Managing and plan work arising through proper maintenance planning process

Continuous improvement projects

Shutdowns and major maintenance planning

Facilitating the process of inspections, using planned job observations linked to particular maintenance work orders

Job Requirements

National Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical Engineering)

Trade tested Artisan / Millwright

At least 3 years in a maintenance planning role in packaging environment

Proven experience in Maintenance and Asset Care Strategies

Knowledge of Machine Maintenance Practices, Blow and Injection Moulding process will be advantageous

MSOffice and conversant in CMMS (JDE, SAP, etc.)

Strong technical problem solving skills including tools, machine services and repairs

Analytical and attention to detail approach and the ability to contribute at a multidisciplinary team in multiple sites

Analytical abilities with a proven track record in technical problem solving and decision making

Ability to work with Artisans and Operations team

Sound understanding of the OSHACT
