The holder of this position will be responsible for devising, implementing and managing all internal and external marketing campaigns, ensuring messaging is consistent with the OUTA marketing strategy.

He / she will be responsible for managing OUTA’s content marketing operation, and the overall success of content marketing initiatives.

They will guide content marketing strategy, facilitate ongoing content planning, manage day-to-day content creation, editing and promotion, and report on the results of each content marketing initiative.

The incumbent will provide leadership, guidance and support to the marketing team. A particular note needs to be given to the fact that the position requires a propensity to working to tight deadlines and at a fast pace within a team environment, often outside normal office hours.

  • Support the head of marketing and communications in the development of the marketing strategy, with a specific focus on the content marketing strategy
  • Generation of content marketing plans, with SMART objectives
  • Creation of a monthly editorial calendar
  • Content research and writing
  • Management of the production other elements of content
  • Editing and proofing of content
  • Content publishing and promotion, as well as performance monitoring and analysis
  • Generate content plans for specific projects, campaigns and events, working in collaboration with the relevant department(s)
  • Liaise and engage with various role players maintaining absolute confidentiality at all times.
  • Research and competitor analysis
  • Ensuring OUTA’s website is accurate and updated
  • Training, growth and development of staff
  • Providing support, guidance and effective management of the team.
