Seeking an experienced 3rd Line support engineer to provide remote support to various international customers across Email & Collaboration, Wintel, Virtualisation and Cloud technologies.
This is an opportunity to work for a large international group that provides managed services to enterprise level customers across a wide range of industries and technologies.

Supporting customers infrastructure environments remotely from Cape TownIncident investigation and resolution in accordance with agreed SLAs and working within the ITIL frameworkPro-active monitoring using, amongst others, automated tools / reports where availableProject work for new deployments / migrations / upgrades as requiredRoot-cause analysis for complex issues as per the problem management processAssess supported customer environments with a view to suggesting initiatives that could serve to improve the levels of support and service we provide as a teamMentor and assist team members when required
Minimum 10 years overall experience in a Wintel environment, including but not limited to : Minimum 4 years advanced Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2016Microsoft Active Directory 2008 or higher (AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy)Microsoft CA's, SSL certificates and Public Key InfrastructureMinimum 1 2 years Microsoft Azure implementation, configuration & managementMinimum 4 years advanced vSphere 5.
5 or laterExcellent understanding of network basics (IP addressing, subnets, routing, firewall behaviour, etc).Excellent skills in drafting or updating technical documentation4-5 years experience supporting and managing the following technologies : Microsoft Exchange 2013 or higherMicrosoft Office 365 / Exchange OnlineMicrosoft Skype for BusinessPowerShell scripting (analyse, edit & create)Advanced Citrix XenApp 7.
