The Analyst / Programmer for SAP integration development will be responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of various applications throughout the group.
The incumbent will be involved in the development of new interfaces using SAP XIPIPO, Analysing system issues and finding suitable solutions, Incident and problem management as well as attending to all Integration related Support incidents.
The incumbent responsibilities will also include monitoring of technical interfaces and correction / attending to failed messages.
The incumbent must be self-managed and comfortable liaising with clients to resolve any related issues.
Ability to develop software according to best practice, display good knowledge of SQL Database : Oracle, MSSQL as well investigate optimal connectivity protocols to third party systems.
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
Relevant IT qualification i.e. BSc (Information Technology) / (Computer Science), BCom (Informatics) or
Equivalent Diploma in software development and Computer Science.
SAP XI / PI / PO certification.
Minimum of 3 year SAP XI / PI / PO development and maintenance experience.
Minimum of 3 year Application support and maintenance
Experience in and knowledge of the healthcare industry beneficial.
Extensive experience in developing aforementioned technologies and using current development
Web services / WSDL / XSD
Ability to work independently and complete tasks timeously without being monitored.

Design interfaces around functional and business requirements.
Liaise with customer base (management) on system requirements and integration with business processes and develop software according to best practice.
Assist operations and support staff with the resolution of operational problems
Investigate optimal connectivity protocols to third party systems.
Data and system protection, security and integrity.
SAP integration software Life Cycle management.
Service Orientated Architecture (SOA).
Design and development of databases including SQL queries and stored procedures.
SQL Database : Oracle, MSSSQL server administration and monitoring functions.
Scoping / strategy sessions with the customer base / technical team to determine the longer term strategy and other complimentary platforms within the global corporation that fit the Enterprise Architecture of the group
Knowledge in SAP mobile technologies beneficial, including SAP NetWeaver Gateway, SAPUI5, Fiori
development and administration
Training of customer base in relevant tools where applicable.
Assist with technical guidance and on-the-job training of less experienced staff, and check work of colleagues as required.
